Simmons Bible University (SBU) was established to assist in the equipping of believers to fulfill their ministry. The word “ministry” is not limited to just those who are ordained.

2 Corinthians 5 tells us that as believers we all have a ministry--the ministry of reconciling people back to God. Having a solid command of the Bible and its key doctrines is an essential element for anyone who desires to fulfill this calling.

Simmons Bible University strives to adhere as closely as possible to the simplicity of the Word of God. While there are clearly lots of areas open to degrees of interpretation, the essentials are very clear. It is those essentials that we believe unite all believers.
